Editing Shared Scripts

There are three versions of this tool available:

You can also include any of these versions on a custom palette or custom menu.

When you choose Page or Background, the Edit Shared Scripts window will list all objects on the current page or background that have shared scripts, with corresponding shared scripts on the right. When you select Book, it lists all shared scripts in the book.

To open a shared script in ToolBook's Script Editor, either double-click it or select it and click the Edit Script button.

Note: If, when this editor is open, you select an object on your page or background that has a shared script, the cursor will momentarily turn into the one shown and the selection becomes the default in this editor.

Note: you can collapse this dialog by clicking on the collapse graphic (Generate/collapseBtn.gif) at the top of the screen and then expand it again by clicking the expand graphic (Generate/expandBtn.gif).

Click on the screen elements for details.
